Much Ado About Nothing

By William Shakespeare

May 1945. Victory has been declared in Europe and service personnel are starting to head home. Home to a different world to the one they left. Leonato’s farm has been running at full tilt thanks to the Land Girls and the women are ready to celebrate, but have they changed as much as those who’ve been away fighting? Is love the cure for the wounds of war as Don Pedro and his RAF colleagues return? Or, are love and war always intertwined? Either way, laughter is always the greatest medicine and Shakespeare’s wonderful comedy has enough to sooth our ills.
