Something for the weekend...

The Kelvin Players - Tartuffe

Our friends at The Kelvin Players have had a great start to their run of Tartuffe at the Tobacco Factory in Bristol and it would be a shame if you missed out!

When low-life conman Tartuffe weasels his way into the life of Orgon and his family, no one is prepared for the chaos he will cause. Orgon, blinded by his admiration for the outwardly pious Tartuffe is taken in. He happily consults Tartuffe in all his affairs, even offering the hand of his daughter, Mariane, whilst the conman slyly seeks to seduce Orgon’s beautiful wife. As the family unravels, mayhem ensues. Will Tartuffe get what he wants, or what he deserves?

The Kelvin Players, established in 1929, is based on Gloucester Road in Bristol and has a wide member ship including many faces that will be familiar to RTC audiences. The gorgeous costumes in the production have been made by Chrissy Fryers who we always love working with.

If you can make it over to Bristol in the next few days it should be worth the trip.
