Emma, by Jane Austen

Adapted by Jon Jory

Our fabulous Summer production at the Rondo Theatre has had some wonderful feedback:

‘We really enjoyed last night performance. Directing brilliant. Acting superb. Great evening.’

‘What an enchanting production of Emma we saw tonight. The casting was a delight. Congratulations to everyone who did anything for the play, especially the director! It was a pleasure to be in the audience.’

‘I thought the cast were brilliant, they had a great chemistry and there were some lovely comedic touches too. And the carriage was inspired!’

Only Friday and Saturday night left to see it.  Plus there are still plenty of seats left for the matinee on Saturday..!!

All proceeds from the production will be donated to Bath Cats and Dogs Home. Book now!

Emma Woodhouse is ‘handsome, clever and rich - has a tendency to think well of herself’ and is self appointed matchmaker in local society.

Jane Austen’s novel is brought to life on stage as we follow her journey from idle interference in the romantic lives of her friends and acquaintance to genuine love and understanding.

Jane Austen described Emma as ‘a heroine whom no one but myself will much like’ - however, it is for all her flaws that she is so endearing.

In beautiful period costume, this promises to be a wonderful evening's entertainment. And all in a good cause!
