Bullshot Crummond: Man Down Donation
We are delighted to announce that our summer production of Bullshot Crummond was able to raise a monumental £839.83 for our charity of choice: ManDown UK!

It’s Sylvia and Marek’s wedding. Over the course of a hot summer’s day, a family gathers to welcome a newcomer into their midst. But as the beer and vodka flows and the guests hit the dancefloor, passions boil over and the limits of love are tested.

Described by one reviewer as ‘Chekhov on Heineken’, the play blends humour and tragedy, exploring complex family dynamics, love, loss and the scars left by decades of social and economic history. Beth Steel’s new play is a hilarious and heartbreaking portrayal of a larger than life family struggling to come to terms with a changing world.

The Rondo Theatre Company is delighted to host an original play written by author Owen Lewis, adapted from his novel of the same name.

By night, Ellis is a pizza delivery boy. By day, he cares for his ex-girlfriend, the sullen and silent Jessica.
|
His life being repetitive and depressing, he finds himself opening up to Jessica about what happened to him after she broke up with him… the time he found himself volunteering to work with vulnerable adults, and met Nathan…
|
Exploring themes of sexuality, disability and neurodivergence, Lewis’s play focuses on the lives and complex experiences of those working in care.
|
Author Owen Lewis will be joining us for this play-reading and we are very excited to have the opportunity to hear this moving story come alive.
