Coming soon to the Rondo Theatre:
Bullshot Crummond
By Ron House, Diz White, Alan Shearman, Derek Cunningham & John Neville-Andrews
Wednesday 17th - Saturday 20th June 2026
at the Rondo Theatre, St. Saviours Road, Bath, BA1 6RT
The evil Otto Van Brunno and the dastardly Lenya are up to no good. Having kidnapped a Professor for their nefarious purposes, it’s up to the dashing Bullshot Crummond to save the day!
A riotous parody of 1930s adventure stories and stiff-upper-lip heroics, The Rondo Theatre Company presents Bullshot Crummond – a fast-paced, gloriously silly send-up of British pulp fiction. Expect moustaches, maniacal villains, damsels in distress, and a lot of quick changes — all delivered with a wink and a perfectly polished accent. Think Indiana Jones meets The 39 Steps meets Blackadder, but with even less sense and a lot more fun. Audience dressing up is encouraged!
This is the Rondo Theatre Company’s annual charity production.

That’s no moon… it’s the Globe! Doescher’s cult translation of Lucas’ iconic space opera has delighted fans for over a decade spawning a whole genre of bardic adaptations including the rest of the Skywalker saga, Mean Girls, Back to the Future and more. We’re taking you back to the script that started it all with ‘Verily, A New Hope’, so pack thine sabre and merrily roll along to the Rondo Theatre for an evening of metered mirth! And what better day to do so than May the Fourth!
Expect an evening of hilarity, with all the best Episode Four quotes marvellously translated into iambic pentameter, with a few fun references to Shakespeare thrown in the mix as well!
All are welcome at our social play readings, where we'll read the play in full, script in hand. There will be breaks to top up teas, discuss the text and dream up staging and casting! There's no pressure to read if you don't want to but everyone will get the chance to regardless of age/ gender/ etc. If you think you might be late - come anyway! These events are very relaxed and we'd love for you to join us.

If you have any access needs / accommodations, don't hesitate to let us know and we'll do our best to support you.

Audition with the Rondo Theatre:
Till the Stars Come Down
By Beth Steel
We're auditioning! Another date for your diaries thespians as we're inviting you to audition with us for our November 2026 production 'Till the Stars Come Down' by Beth Steel.
Directed by Andy Fletcher.
Audition dates: Tuesday 5th & Wednesday 6th May 2026, 7pm at the Rondo Theatre, Bath, BA1 6RT (No need to attend both dates)
Till the Stars Come Down is a sharp, powerful and funny drama which follows a tight knit family gathering over one scorching summer day to celebrate the marriage of Sylvia to Marek, a Polish immigrant.
Set in a former East Midlands mining town, the play follows Sylvia’s working class family as passions ignite and long-held secrets surface, testing loyalties and forcing characters to confront a future full of uncertainty.
Described as ‘Chekhov on Heineken’, the play blends humour and tragedy, exploring complex family dynamics, love, loss and the scars left by decades of social and economic history. It is fast paced, profound, moving and very funny.
A critical smash, it premiered in a sell out run at the National Theatre in 2024 before transferring to the West End. We are delighted to be one of the first community theatre groups to have been given the performing rights to this brilliant play.
